Join us for a two-day hands-on course featuring Dr. George Kotsakis, DDS, MS and Dr. Ehab Moussa, DDS, MsD.

The course will take place on May 30 - 31, 2024 in Mahwah, NJ.

Peri-implantitis has been receiving attention following recent studies that showed that it is highly prevalent and difficult to manage. This course will provide the latest evidence-based information on peri-implant diseases with emphasis on a team/interdisciplinary approach to
treatment. In this course two Master Clinicians join forces to teach for the first time a comprehensive course that encompasses all major critical aspect of tissue development for prevention of peri-implantitis and bone management for its treatment.

The program will present the updates on the definition and etiology of peri-implantitis from the American Academy of Periodontology’s 2018 consensus meeting, risk factors for peri-implant disease and preventive measures to incorporate into the implant treatment plan. The latest scientific evidence on implant cleaning instruments, chemotherapeutics and prevention of cytotoxic titanium particle release will be reviewed. In addition, an immersive step-by-step hands-on experience will allow the participants to thoroughly comprehend innovative evidence-driven therapeutic protocols for disease prevention and treatment and develop handskills critical to peri-implant procedures.

The program will be presented by Dr. Ehab Moussa, DDS, MS who is a Periodontal educator and an expert in peri-implant soft tissue management for peri-implant health maintenance and by Dr. George Kotsakis, DDS, MS, Professor & Clinical Research Dean, Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine who is an expert in peri-implantitis treatment.
