Osteogenics Biomedical Introduces Zcore™ Xenograft

October 01

LUBBOCK, Texas – Osteogenics Biomedical, a leader in the development of innovative dental bone grafting products, introduces Zcore™, a porcine xenograft particulate.

Zcore™ is an osteoconductive, porous, anorganic bone mineral with a carbonate apatite structure derived from porcine cancellous bone, making it free from risk of BSE transmission.

The xenograft’s interconnecting macroscopic and microscopic porous structures reduce the bulk density of the graft, therefore supporting the formation and ingrowth of new bone. In addition, bone growth is facilitated by greater empty space (88% to 95% void space) due to the hyper-porosity of its porcine cancellous matrix.

Zcore™ is available in two different particle sizes; .25 mm – 1.0 mm and 1.0 mm – 2.0 mm.
